The California Educational Research Association (CERA) sponsors awards for support of research studies in education. The purpose of the grant is to provide additional support for studies that may focus on, but are not limited to, instructional improvement, classroom assessment, educational measurement or program evaluation in California school districts. Projects that connect school districts and institutes of higher education are particularly encouraged. The grant may be used for a task-based budget line item that would extend or deepen work within a larger project.
The CERA Board has authorized up to $5,000 annually for the Research Partnerships Grant Award program. One to three Research Grants may be awarded to more than one recipient, not to exceed the maximum of $5,000. The CERA Research Grant Awards are only available to current members of CERA.
Congratulations to the 2017 Research Partnerships Grant recipient, Priyanka Agarwal and Santa Ana Unified School District teacher, David Rhodes!
